At Grimes Dyke, the school uniform is made to be both active and comfortable, allowing children to move freely throughout the day. As a Platinum Award winning Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) school, we greatly value the importance of play, which is why our uniform is kept simple. Students wear plain black joggers or leggings, along with a white or red t-shirt, and a red jumper or hoodie. Although we offer t-shirts, hoodies, and jackets with the school logo through our uniform supplier, these are not mandatory. Additionally, all children must wear trainers instead of school shoes and should have a pair of wellies to keep in school.

Our school uniform supplier for branded items is APC Clothing. Parents can order uniform directly from their website or we often carry items in the school office if parents / carers prefer to pay cash.  

Parents and Carers should note that plain red and black items of uniform are equally acceptable in school as long as they do not have any logo or design on them.  Generic items are widely available from low-cost outlet, all plain items can be bought from any supermarket or children's clothing store.
